Chocolate Care

Chocolate is a delicate product and responds naturally to changes in temperature and environment. The following guidelines will help preserve the quality, texture, and flavor of your bonbons.

Storage Guidelines

Store chocolates in a cool, dry environment between 60-68°F (16-20°C).

Avoid refrigeration whenever possible, as excess humidity may affect the surface of the chocolate. If refrigeration is necessary due to warm conditions, allow the chocolates to return to room temperature before opening the box to prevent condensation.

Shelf Life

Our bonbons are crafted in small batches without preservatives.

For optimal flavor and texture, we recommend enjoying them within 10-14 days of delivery.

Temperature Sensitivity

Chocolate may soften or melt when exposed to temperatures above approximately 75°F (24°C).

Orders should be retrieved promptly after delivery and stored in a cool environment.

Natural Bloom

If chocolate is exposed to temperature fluctuations, a light surface bloom may occasionally appear.

This is a natural characteristic of chocolate and does not affect safety or flavor.

Delivery Responsibility

Once an order has been confirmed as delivered by the carrier, Essence de Bonbon cannot be responsible for exposure to heat, delayed retrieval, or improper storage conditions.

Thank you for supporting small-batch craftsmanship.
